1.) Install Valvoline® SynPower® transmission flush to thoroughly clean deposits from the entire
transmission including: transmission cooler, valve body, and torque converter.
2.) ATF exchange equipment will be used to flush and remove the old fluid from the entire system.
3.) At the same time, New Valvoline Automatic Transmission Fluid will be pumped into the transmission.
4.) Valvoline SynPower Transmission Protector, Conditioner & Sealer will be added to the system to help
maintain optimum shifting characteristics & protect against wear & high temperature breakdown.

Conventional transmission service removes only a small portion of the old contaminated fluid. The
large amount of old fluid left over (approximately 70%) contaminates the new fluid making the service less
effective and causing new deposits to form more quickly. Excessive heat is the main reason transmission
systems fail. Deposits build up in the transmission. Transmission coolers also build deposits which don’t
allow the fluid to be cooled properly leading to early transmission failure. Regular Transmission
maintenance as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer is an important way to help prevent expensive
